ABOUT ME
A Kenya/ UK-based artist.
I’m a travelling artist from Peter Tavy, Devon, specialising in hand-drawn maps, animal illustrations and large-scale murals.
In 2023, a severe chronic migraine forced me to step away from my work as a film producer in London and radically slow down. After nearly a year of recovery, it became clear that fast city life was no longer for me. To relearn my limits—and my sense of direction—I began travelling alone.
In 2024, I lived and worked across Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Japan, Portugal, South Africa and Namibia, before eventually landing in Kenya. While staying on a friend’s farm, I found myself lost once again—and returned with an unexpected solution: I made her a map.
That moment reshaped my practice. Since then, I’ve created maps of camps, lodges, conservancies, islands, farms, wedding locations and honeymoons, as well as deeply personal story maps charting someone’s life. Alongside my illustration work, I recently completed my largest project to date: an entire room mural.
If you have an idea—big, small, or slightly off-track—I’d love to hear it.
Clients include: Borana Conservancy, Nomadic Africa / Ker & Downey, Lengishu House, Cinnabar Green, Explorer Co., Mike’s Camp Kiwayu, and Mukutan Conservancy.
