ABOUT ME
A Kenya/ UK-based artist and photographer.
I am a travelling artist from Peter Tavy in Devon. Growing up on the edge of beautiful Dartmoor National Park, I quickly developed a deep love for the natural world. This love for nature and the wonderful wild has taken me to so many places, most recently to South Africa, Namibia and Kenya.

Two years ago, I left my job producing factual films after a severe chronic migraine. I loved my job but my migraine left me unable to work. After a hellish few months, I found relief in gardening and art. Having done art as a side hustle for years, I took this as a sign to give more of myself to it. Since then, I have managed to combine my love for art and travel, working as a travelling artist, photographer and host on trips all over the world.

This past year, I have done art residencies in Kenya at Cinnabar Green and Borana Lodge, exhibited at Delamore Arts, and worked as host and photographer on trips in South Africa and Namibia for Xoom Africa.

PAINTINGS
I work mainly in watercolour and acrylic, offering a variety of paintings from landscapes to illustrations. My paintings are available both by commission and available for purchase. If you wish to discuss a commission or purchase a painting, please use the contact form or email me at elizasale@icloud.com.

PRINTS & CARDS
You can order prints of my paintings and photos in various sizes and formats.
If you have commissioned the painting you wish to print (as postcards for example), I can offer you a 10% discount on the print quote.

PHOTOGRAPHY
I specialise in natural portraits and events photography.
​
What I mean by natural portraits is, I won't sit you down in a chair, shine a light at you and ask you to pose. Instead I prefer to capture you in a place that you love and that represents you. Whether that's sitting in a chair reading a book or swinging from a tree!
